Access to Research
Access to Research is a unique resource providing free access to some of the world's best academic articles and research. It has over 1.5 million articles, from over 8,500 journals. With in-depth information on art, business, engineering, technology, medicine, history, languages, politics, mathematics, the sciences and much more, this resource is ideal for small businesses, researchers and students alike. This service is a two year pilot of a unique collaboration between librarians and publishers. Please note that publishers have not made all their articles available free of charge.
British Library 19th Century Newspaper Collection
A comprehensive range of national, regional and local newspapers published in 19th century Britain, which reflects the social, political and cultural events of the times. Users can search across a large range of titles, perform full-text searches and view specific article types.
Infotrac Custom Journals
Provides access to the full text of articles from the Daily Telegraph, Guardian, Independent, Times, Daily Mail, Evening Standard, Mirror, People and Sun newspapers (including the Sunday versions where appropriate).
